Have you ever been reading a book and there’s a scene that makes you close the book and walk away?
Have you ever caught yourself saying, “don’t do that!” and slamming the book closed because you KNOW she’s gonna do it even though you told her not to?
Have you ever felt so queasy because of book you need to take a break?
Maybe it’s just me and how empathetic I am towards imaginary people. I’m at that point right now with a book. I have not picked it up in two days because I am afraid of what might happen!

I’m going to finish it. I am. Just maybe not too soon. I won’t tell you which book it is now cause I’m going to do a review. I am. Cause I’m gonna finish the book. I am. Just as soon as I can pick up the book again…
Heartless by Marissa Meyer. I binged it in a day until I had 60 pages left, but then was WAY to scared to finish it. I didn’t end up finishing it until a month later. Let’s just say I cried. A lot.

I’ve done that too! I just get so invested and my heart can only take so much!

Yup- I have definitely been there- the two that come to mind are Lolita and Outlander- I finished both of those in the end, but it was tough going. Great post!

Cress by Marissa Meyer. I can’t remember why I put it down, but it has been sitting on my bedside table for quite some time now. I think it’s time I’d pick it up again since I have nothing but great things about it.

I’ve heard good things about it too! I bet it’ll be great and you’ll wonder why you didn’t finish it right away. That happens to me often 😉 hope you enjoy!
