SNOW WHITE
THIS BOOK (LIKE THE MOVIE) STARTED IT ALL
Favorite Debut Book From an Author

Wait for me by Caroline Leech
I feature this book A LOT. I chose this book because it’s fresh in my mind and I absolutely loved it and recommend it to all people ever. I await Leech’s next book and plan to reread this book again and again. Plus the cover is beautiful. I could gush more but I’ll stop. I reviewed it here if you want more.

CINDERELLA
A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH
Just Like Cinderella, You Either Didn’t Expect Much Out of This Character in the Beginning But Turned Out to Be a Total Jem
Gryphon from
Nameless by Jennifer Jenkins
When I started
Nameless I didn’t have super high hopes for either of the main characters, but Gryphon especially. I thought his development as a character would be dry and predictable. IT. WAS. NOT. It only got better in the second book. I highly recommend. If you want to read my review it’s
here.
AURORA
SLEEPING BEAUTY
A Book That Makes You Sleepy or Just Could Not Hold Your Attention
I always feel bad when I say anything about the Hobbit to book lovers because I’m usually the unpopular opinion when it comes to this book. I actually had to read this book for a club forever ago and I had to force myself to read it. I actually skimmed the ending on the graphic novel version a friend lent me. The speech bubbles were ridiculously big and it wasn’t shorter in my opinion.
ARIEL
UNDER THE SEA
A Book With a Water/Ocean Setting
I actually realized I haven’t read a lot of book with underwater themes. This is the second mermaid series I’ve read and the first I’ve ever finished. The concept was new and not totally lame (I think mermaids can be really lame if not done well). It’s a nice light summer read–especially if you’re near the ocean.
BELLE
BEAUTY AND THE BOOKS
Name a Book With the Best Bookworm/Book Lover
Katy from
Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Katy is the best book nerd I’ve ever come across. 1. because she has a book vlog, and 2. she understands fangirling over every aspect of books. I felt a true kinship with her. I also really want her hot alien neighbor 😉
JASMINE
THE THIEF AND THE PRINCESS
Name Book with an Unlikely Love Story (Either in Terms of Romance or a Book You Didn’t Expect to Love So Much)
This works for both an unlikely romance as well as a book I didn’t expect to love. I’ll be reviewing this book soon so I won’t say much, but my expectations were very low and I anticipated not finishing the book. I was wrong folks, so wrong.
POCAHONTAS
THE REAL LIFE PRINCESS
Name a Book that is Based on a Real Life Person You Want to Read/Have Read
I read this a billion years ago, but I don’t really read based on real people anymore. I love Elizabeth Tudor (Elizabeth I) and I read a ton of fictional books about her, and this one was very good and had other books on princess during her time which I enjoyed as well. Also this a book about a real princess which fits this tag well 😉
MULAN
THE PRINCESS THAT SAVED HER COUNTRY
Name the Fiercest Heroine You Know
Kit is wicked fierce. I really enjoyed her as a character and I felt that she straddle the line of strong and vulnerable well. It’s one of the best YA books I’ve ever read. Unfortunately the series may never be finished, much to my heartbreak.
TIANA
THE PRINCESS WITH THE COOLEST AND MOST DIVERSE CREW
Name a diverse book whether it is a diverse set of characters (like Tiana’s group of Naveen, Louis, Ray, and more) or just diverse in general
So this is technically middle grade, forgive me, but I feel that this crew of characters is one of the most diverse that wouldn’t be expected. At the end of the series different races, genders, and sexualities are represented as well as Romans and Greeks 😉 I also just really love Riordan’s work.
RAPUNZEL
LET YOUR LONGGGGGG HAIR DOWN
Name the Longest Book You’ve Ever Read
I haven’t read this book since elementary or junior high, I honestly can’t remember. BUT I read it and it is freaking LONG. 849 pages. And I didn’t even like it that much. I really loved the series but it took too long for this one to come out and I didn’t remember a lot and the characters got weird and I hated the ending. But I read it.
MERIDA
I DETERMINE MY OWN FATE
A Book Where There is No Love Story/Interest or Isn’t Needed

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
So… I kinda only read books with romance in it right now… it’s a phase…maybe. Anyways, this book has no romance but is killer (HA! see what I did there?) It’s one of my all time favorite books in the whole wide world.
ANNA/ELSA
FROZEN HEARTS
A Book in a Winter/Cold Setting
This is the most recent winter setting I’ve read, and I didn’t really like it. If I had read it a few years ago I might have, but the plot is something I’ve already seen. It wasn’t done poorly; I’ve just already seen it enough that I wasn’t really interested. If you want to see my review it’s
here.
MOANA
HOW FAR I’LL GO
A Character That Goes on a Journey
I love me a quest. LOVE THEM. Truthwitch is perfect for quest-lovers because every character in the book is on a quest specific to them and sometimes they intersect and sometimes they leave. It’s phenomenal.

Ooooh, Grace, your answers were so much fun! I canNOT wait to see your thoughts on Hunted. I’ve seen so many good reviews for it, but I’m eager to see your final verdict since it seems like it will be good. 😀 And I every time I come on your blog, I remember how excited I am to read Wait for Me, but I keep forgetting to read it. XD And I totally think I would be the same with The Hobbit. It seems that it could be quite dry. Wonderful answers, Grace, and thanks so much for doing it! It was so much fun to read! 😀
