I have been gone so long! It’s been so crazy busy in my life, but luckily I have still managed to read during all the chaos. I am glad to be back, so to start off my summer of blogging, her is one of my favorite books I’ve ever read. Enjoy!
This book amazed me. I felt like it was written just for me. Waverly has so many characteristics similar to me that I connected so well with her. The depth of which we get to know Waverly and Marshall was so personal and real that I was enthralled by them and their struggles. Yovanoff took high school, which has been so done, and she made it something completely new from the archetypes and things we’re familiar with.
This book deals with very real problems that I found so unique and well done–especially since they hit so close to home. Waverly struggles with emotions and expressing herself and lets everyone else dictate how she should act because she’s been told her whole life she’s wrong.
Marshal has also been told he’s wrong because he feels too much. His life makes my heart ache and made me love him so much.
I cannot recommend this book enough. Please, if you are even remotely interested in reading, do it. I loved every page and it has changed me as a person and how I view the world. This is so sappy, but this is definitely one of my favorite books I’ve ever read and I do NOT say that lightly.
I was reading this book and then Stay by Zedd and Alicia Cara came on and I almost cried it was such a perfect song for this book and I really wanted to share it with you all. Also I thought “I Found Love” by Amber Run was a great song for this book as well.
I haven’t read this book, but it sounds good. I love finding a book that I can really connect with and feel as if it was written just for me.
