Hey all! Perhaps you’re an extrovert dying for some interaction or maybe your an introvert looking to make the most of all this “me” time. If you’re like me you’re looking for your next good read because what better way to escape this crazy time than through a good read? I’ve been ripping through my TBR list, and I’ve been trying to fill the holes.
One of my absolute favorite things to do is to recommend books to people! I would love to ask each one of you what you like to read and what you have been reading. So, I thought I would make some short posts about what I recommend to read based on interests. These are of course all young adult books since that’s mostly what I read.
Romance
(Magic-ish) The Weight of Feathers by Anna-Marie McLemore
This is an amazing romance book–on of my all time favorites. I love the magical lore in it, and that little extra bit of magic. I’m also a big fan of performances and Romeo and Juliet recreations.
(Contemporary) Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
This is the first in a series. I’m a HUGE fan of McGarry. She’s probably my favorite romance author.
Court Politics
Ruined by Amy Tintera
If you like believable strong female leads, court intrigue, and The Winner’s Curse, you’ll love this book. Tintera writes amazing strong female leads who I can only dream to be like.
Dystopian
Flashfall by Jenny Moyer
If you like Hunger Games, then you need to read this book. Orion captures what we love about Katniss without being a copycat character. This dystopian world was fresh, and of course sad.
