Three Dark Crowns Review: deadly sisters and so many POVS

I think this book is doing really incredible things. We get to read from so many different character perspectives. Yet, there are still secrets and surprises. So I feel like I have a good idea of the cast of characters and the plots map, but I honestly don’t think I know the half of it.

Mirabella:

I naturally liked Mirabella I think because she reminds me of “Avatar the last Airbender.” I also really love how she’s still attached to her sisters and even though she’s the most powerful, she desires to kill her sisters the least.

Arsinoe:

This girl is a total baller and I love how she’s so contrary to everything. I also think she has the best sense of humor. She also comes from like an actual loving family which I loved. She really grew on me.

Katharine:

I feel horrible for this poor girl. She does not have the stomach for all the poison she has to eat. Also I don’t know how I feel about Pietyr and if he’s taking advantage of her. She wants to be loved and people understand that and use her.

This island:

I feel like something has gone wrong on this island and I’m hoping that it will be set right over the course of the series.

I found this dark fantasy super intriguing, full of hard choices, and flawed characters. I look forward to the next book!
